Noel Barnes, CPA
Chief Administrative Officer, 404-890-7701 Noel oversees the Corporate Operations of Edge Capital Partners and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He joined Edge from EzGov, Inc., where he was Chief Financial Officer and had been Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Earlier in his career Noel was Director of Finance for Retx, Inc., an energy software firm, and an Accountant with Arthur Andersen.
Noel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (Cum Laude) from Georgia State University. He holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Amanda G. Brady
Client Administrator, 404-890-7704 As an Administrator for Edge Capital Partners, Amanda assists the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. She joined Edge from Credit Suisse First Boston’s Atlanta office. Earlier in her career she was Chief Administrative Officer for Octagon Advisory Group, an international hedge fund, and worked with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division.
Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hollins College, where she minored in Spanish.

Robert C. Corner
Director, Portfolio Manager 404-835-3281 Rob is Director of Institutional Liquidity Management for Edge and a member of the Edge Research Team. He joined the firm from StableRiver Capital Management where he was Senior Portfolio Manager and Director of Short Duration Fixed Income Management. Rob oversaw taxable fixed income strategies, including ultra-short, 1-3 year, 1-5 year, and intermediate mandates. He launched the firm’s first fixed income composites in 2001. In addition, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy, Credit, and Best Execution committees. More than 14 of Rob’s 22 years of investment management experience came at StableRiver and its predecessor organizations.
A native of Pennsylvania, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance from Drexel University.

Whit Davis, MBA
Director, 404-890-7709 Whit coordinates investment manager search, selection, due diligence, and oversight for Edge. He is also a member of the Edge Research Team. He joined the firm from Credit Suisse where he was responsible for new business development and client asset allocation strategies. Whit began his career at Morgan Stanley where he was both a Financial Advisor and a Sales Associate.
Whit earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of the South and a Master of Business of Administration from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University. Active in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Whit is also a member of the Lake Lanier Sailing Club.

Ashley C. Dearman
Vice President, Client Specialist, 214-442-8953 Ashley joined the Edge Dallas office from FPG Partners, where she specialized in capital raises for private equity funds and other alternative investment managers. Prior to institutional fundraising for FPG Partners and William Blair & Co’s funds placement group, Ashley spent five years with Highland Capital Management, L.P. as a portfolio associate working in operations and valuation analyses. She has spent the last eleven years in the distressed debt and equity markets.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University. She holds her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses; she enjoys tennis and is actively involved in Junior League of Dallas.

Rick Floress
Chief Compliance Officer, 404-890-7703 Rick oversees regulatory compliance at Edge and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. He joined Edge from Credit Suisse Private Banking USA where he was Administrative Manager for the Atlanta office. Earlier, Rick was Administrative Manager for Prudential Securities in its New Orleans and Atlanta offices.
Rick is a hearing panel member for the New York Stock Exchange Division of Enforcement and serves as a panel member for Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) dispute resolution cases. He serves as Vice President of the board of directors for a humanitarian aid organization that serves the people of Nicaragua. Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Lucas Ford
Accountant, 404-890-7702 As an Accountant for Edge Capital Partners, Lucas assists the Chief Administrative Officer in accounting and IT functions. Lucas came to Edge Capital Partners after starting and managing an accounting and finance tutoring company which mentored undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business at Florida State University. Lucas received his Bachelors of Science with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Real Estate from FSU and is currently working towards his CPA certification.

A member of the firm’s Investment Management Team, Peek joined Edge from Credit Suisse Private Banking USA where he was a Director overseeing more than $1 billion in assets. Earlier Peek was Vice President of Lehman Brother’s Inc. In his fourteen years with the firm, Peek worked in its Private Equity and Institutional Fixed Income divisions. Peek came to investment management from the insurance brokerage business. Peek is actively involved in philanthropies focused on the environment and children’s health. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Sayre School and serves on the Finance Committee of the Turner Foundation. Peek attended the University of Georgia and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Georgia State University.

She joined Edge from a private family office, which she served for two and a half years. Earlier in her career, AK was with the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley and with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Earlier Harry was with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Division. He also served as portfolio manager for a hedge fund and was an analyst for the Excelsior Value & Restructuring Fund where he was tutored by David Williams. Harry earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics with distinction (Omicron Delta Epsilon) from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler School of Business, which presented him with its Young Alumni Award in 2009.
